Deuce & Boudreaux

Hi there!

This week has been really busy! The past couple of months have been very stressful, but it feels like everything is finally starting to fall into place. I have a lot of things I want to post about but I just haven’t had the time. For now, I want to share with you the newest additions to our family.

Meet our two Pembroke Welsh Corgis

Deuce & Boudreaux

We got them from a friend that was unable to keep them any longer. They are 3 year old brothers that have never spent a day apart.

Deuce is the energetic one that LOVES to play with his tennis ball. He will chase that ball as long as you will continue to throw it. He really loves every toy, but fetch is by far his favorite game.

Boudreaux is our sweet, cuddly dog. His personality is the exact opposite of Deuce. He wants to cuddle all the time and is perfectly content to stay indoors with the air conditioner and his rawhide chew.

We have never had dogs before, so this has been an exciting new change for us. It has been a learning experience and has taken a little while to get used to but we haven’t had too much trouble. They had a pretty good routine going with the previous owners and it has worked out great for us because we have similar schedules. It also makes it easier because they do everything together and I mean EVERYTHING. They sleep together, eat together, and I’ve even caught them butt-to-butt peeing on the same bush together.

I have a lot more pictures to post and stories to share, but I don’t want to put you into corgi overload. I’ll leave you with this picture I took while playing outside one evening.

They love to play!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!
